Negli anni ' 60 Daniele Ostorero aveva un sogno: diventare stilista di autovetture, possibilmente sportive o da competizione.Non se ne fece nulla, ma passati parecchi anni il sogno, in piccola parte, si è realizzato nel campo dello slot.Le linee delle vetture che Dreamslot presenta sono la realizzazione in scala di quel sogno.Un amico e collezionista dei tradizionali modelli Ostorero, Paolo Palleschi, venuto a conoscenza dell'idea del progetto, ha creduto e si è entusiasmato al sogno e ne è diventato parte integrante facendo nascere così Dreamslot. Dreamslot va ad affiancarsi alla classica produzione dei modelli slot in resina degli Ostorero, che con questi nuovi prodotti vogliono affacciarsi al mondo delle slot da competizione, in parallelo ai modelli in resina da collezione. ****** WHY DREAMSLOT ? In the 60’s Daniele Ostorero had a dream: to become a car designer, possibly of sport or even racing cars. At the time it did not happen, but many years later the dream came true in the slot car world. The designs that Dreamslot are introducing now are a scale version of that dream. Paolo Palleschi, a good friend and avid Ostorero collector, came into the picture and now has an important role in its start up since he strongly believes in and is enthusiastic of the Dreamslot ideas. Dreamslot comes alongside the classic Ostorero resin production and with these new products enters the world of slot racing.

Le carrozzerie sono in lexan per ottimizzare il peso e rendere le linee morbide, sono presentate colorate, ma sarà possibile acquistarle anche in versione non preverniciata per lasciare alla fantasia di ogni singolo slottista la libertà di personalizzarle a proprio piacimento. Inizialmente sono in produzione 5 versioni diverse di DREAMSLOT, 2 con ruote scoperte AREA 51 e BANG BANG e 3 a ruote coperte, SPACE LAB , FUTURE e NATION. Il modello NATION è disponibile in 9 versioni differenti che rappresentano nei colori, negli stemmi e nelle bandiere le seguenti nazioni:Australia - Francia - Germania - Giappone - Italia - Olanda - Regno Unito - Spagna - USA. In ogni scatola sarà presente un set di fotoincisioni per i cerchioni e un set di decals per abbellire l'estetica della DREAMSLOT. **********ESTHETICS: Bodies are made of Lexan for lightness and for a “softer” look . They are pre-painted but there will be also clear ones available to allow for a personal and creative look. At first Dreamslot will make 5 different versions: 2 open front wheel types AREA 51 and BANG BANG and 3 full body types, SPACE LAB, FUTURE, and NATION. The NATION model will be available in 9 different versions that will have the colors, emblems and the flags of the following countries: Australia, Europe, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Holland, UK, Spain and the USA. In every box there will be a photo etched set for the 4 hubs and a set of decals for a fully detailed DREAMSLOT look.

La produzione Dreamslot si divide tra modelli a ruote coperte e modelli a ruote anteriori scoperte. Il telaio è un mix di 2 componenti, il primo riguardante la parte anteriore e centrale dei modelli è realizzato in plastica, il secondo, stampato in alluminio, supporta motore, assale posteriore e ruote, ed è fissato al primo mediante uno snodo per attutire e smaltire le torsioni di telaio, motore e ruote. Nei modelli Dreamslot a ruote coperte, il telaio in plastica è prodotto in due parti collegate tra loro per permettere un miglior controllo del pickup e del motore. Mentre nei modelli a ruote scoperte il telaio essendo più stretto, è costruito in una sola stampata.Nel telaio posteriore in alluminio, sono utilizzati due cuscinetti a sfere per ridurre l'attrito dell'assale posteriore. I cerchioni sono in alluminio tornito e alleggerito di diametro anteriore mm 12,00, e mm 12,50 posteriori, fermati all'assale con grano M2.Gli pneumatici sono di diametro mm. 15,3 gli anteriori e mm. 18,0 i posteriori, di mescole diverse e come i cerchioni di disegno e produzione O&P Dreamslot. Il motore utilizzato è uno Slot.it V 12 / 3- 25 da 25.000 giri con coppia di 180 GRxCM 11,2@ 12volt di ultima generazione, con pignone da 8 denti diametro mm 5,5 e corona da 26 denti entrambi di produzione Slot.it ********** TECHNICAL DATA: Dreamslot’s production devises two types of cars: full body and open front wheel body. The chassis is a mix of two components. The front and central part of the model is in plastic; the second part in stamped aluminium supports the motor and the rear axle. A joint that compensates for the torsion produced by the chassis, motor and wheels attaches the two sections. While the Dreamslot’s full body models have their front component of the chassis made of two parts which are linked together to allow a better guide and motor control, the open front wheel body’s models are made of just one narrow piece. To reduce friction, both models come with axle ball bearings in the aluminum rear portion of the chassis. Wheel hubs are turned down and made of lightened aluminum, fronts have a diameter of 12,00 mm, rears are 12,50 mm both with M2 screws. Front tires diameter is 15,3 mm, rear tires diameter is 18 mm and are made of different compounds. All tires and wheels are produced by O&P. The motor is a last generation Slot.It V 12 / 3- 25 25.000 RPM 180 GRxCM 11,2W @12volt. The 8T pinion and 26T crown are also by Slot.It.
